The Falmouth Police Department is requesting the enactment of an ordinance restricting the residence of convicted sex offenders within 750 feet of schools and municipally owned playgrounds. The Town is permitted to place these restrictions under M.R.S.A. Title 30-A, Sec 3014, a copy of which is attached. Enacting this Ordinance will provide the Falmouth Police Department management and enforcement capabilities.
