Request from the Board of Zoning Appeals to consider amendments to the Zoning Ordinance regarding the administration of Section 8.3.e.

ACTION: No Council action is anticipated.

Summary:

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) has corresponded with the Council regarding the language in Section 8.3.e. of the Zoning Ordinance. Some BZA members are concerned that the language is vague and difficult to administer. The language is with regard to the impact on water views for construction on non-conforming lots. A letter from F. Jay Meyer, BZA Chair, is attached along with suggestions for changes to the ordinance language.
