Presentation and discussion about proposed amendments to the Code of Ordinances that will update the procedures and rules concerning the use of Parks and Public Lands.

ACTION: Council action is not anticipated other than guidance regarding a formal introduction of the proposed amendments at a later date.
Summary:
The Land Management Team (Parks and Public Works Director, Community Programs Director, Open Space Ombudsman, Land Trust President, FTAC Chair, and Town Manager) have developed ordinance amendments that will update the current regulations and propose some changes in how Parks and Public Lands are used by the public. A list of designated Parks and Public Lands, a list of the current hunting status for public lands and copies of the proposed amendments are attached.
