During the budgetary process and renegotiations with the Town's collection contractor, the Town has developed a plan to change the curbside recycling from bi-weekly collection to weekly collection. As part of that change, the consolidation of the "silver bullets" recycling containers has been identified as a potential option. In February of 2011, Jay Reynolds, Parks and Public Works Director, provided a memo to the Town Manager which outlined this potential option. The memo was shared with the Town Council Finance Committee at their February 2011 meeting. Town staff is seeking input and guidance as to whether the full Council would support this operational change. The Parks and
