On July 26 and December 13, 2010 the Council received Comprehensive Plan updates and discussed the preparation of a community-wide statistical survey.
A new Comprehensive Plan and statistical survey are being conducted once every ten years or so. Market Decisions of Portland serves as survey consultant to the Long Range Planning Advisory Committee. The survey will be web-based as well as available in paper form for all residents and businesses in Falmouth. The Community Development Committee reviewed a draft of the survey instrument.
The expectation is that the survey will be launched in mid May and that survey results will be available about two months after that.
