The public is invited to comment on the proposed language for Referendum Question 1 and Order, dated March 23, 2011, regarding the renovation of the Plummer-Motz and Lunt School complex into a community recreation center, town library, and leasable space (see attached).
A spreadsheet with Anticipated Income and Expenses, dated March 15, 2011, and Concept Schedule, dated March 10, 2011, are also attached.
The Council will be asked to take two separate votes on this matter: 1. a vote to send Question 1 and the Order to the voters for the June 2011 election, and 2. a vote to recommend passage of Question 1 and the Order at the election.
The public may speak on either aspect of this matter. |
