Since the February 28 meeting, staff has worked with the Town Attorney to update a draft of the Referendum Question 1 and Order (see "Clean Copy..."). The draft of both documents considers using funds from Available Undesignated Fund Balance and the use of other revenues, not including new property taxation to cover the costs of capital construction.
At the February 28, 2011 Town Council meeting, the Council focused its interest on option 1 (d). This option, as revised per the 2-28 Council discussion, is proposed to be the basis of the June 2011 referendum question - see attached Proposal spreadsheet, dated March 10, 2011. Total cost of the project is not to exceed $5,650,000.
Staff also prepared a draft Project Schedule, dated March 10, 2011. |
