MRS, the Town's ambulance billing company, has notified the Town that the payment rates for Medicare, as well as other payers, have increased for ambulance services. They are recommending that the Town increase its ambulance charges in order to receive the full amount available for this service. Chief Rice supports this increase.
Ambulance rates are governed by a fee schedule set by the Town Council. A copy of the current fee schedule as well as the order listing the proposed changes is attached. |
