Presentation by Bob Gerber, PE with Sebago Technics, on his findings regarding the coastal study of the FEMA preliminary maps.

ACTION: Council action is not anticipated.

Summary:

FEMA completed the preliminary FIRM (Flood Insurance Rate Map) maps on May 20, 2009. As a result, Falmouth joined several other communities to have the coastal areas studied. Mr Gerber completed the study for Falmouth on December 23, 2009. Please find attached a cover memo from staff, a letter from Bob Gerber summarizing his report, and Figure 1, a graphical representation of the differences between the FEMA preliminary maps and the study results.
