A copy of the full 2009 Board and Committee Annual Report is attached. The intent of the annual report process is to foster proactive, productive communication between the Council and the various citizen committees that serve our town. The annual report and work plan is an opportunity for the Council to keep abreast of the volumes of work that our volunteers are conducting and to make sure the work is consistent with the Council’s annual work plan. Lastly, this meeting presents Councilors with the chance to thank the committees, check-in and ask questions and offer direction in a face-to-face venue.
The Board and Committee representatives are not expected to offer formal or structured presentations at this meeting. The Long Range Planning Committee and Harbor Committee have already presented their reports to the Council at a previous meeting, therefore they will not be asked to attend this meeting. |
