The Town Council will discuss "core" and "core+" municipal services. This general discussion will also provide some guidance in budget development for FY11 and beyond.
The Council's Finance Committee has developed a survey that will ask residents for their input/opinion on several municipal programs and services. This survey will be presented to the full Council in the next agenda item at this meeting for Council input and approval. The Finance Committee developed many of the survey questions based on "core+" municipal programs and services. The Town Council will need to evaluate the Finance Committee's assumptions and categorization of the municipal services and programs identified in the proposed survey. This agenda item should provide the framework for the next discussion in the next agenda item.
