On September 21, 2009, the Town held a community event at the Holy Martyrs Church to discuss possible uses for a Town-owned parcel of land, the former Brown Property. Ways for the Town to manage parking for the nearby Town Landing and next steps for the Council to take were also discussed. The Town Council reviewed a briefing report that summarized the discussions of this meeting at their October 26 Town Council meeting. A copy of the briefing report is attached. The Town Council asked staff to submit a report listing all options for the future use of this property which were raised by the Town Council at their meeting on October 26, 2009. A memo and matrix of options/questions
is attached along with a suggested process for the Town Council to consider in its effort to decide the future use of this property. |
