The Police Chief has submitted a memorandum that explains and supports the request. The Police Chief has also submitted a separate table that describes how Falmouth Police staffing compares to similar communities. A copy of both documents is attached.
A financial analysis will be attached prior to the meeting. A supplemental appropriation order is not necessary because funding will be available in the existing Police Department budget because of savings associated with current and projected staffing circumstances. This decision will impact FY11 more than the current year. |
