Order to authorize the Town Manager to enter into an agreement with Southern Maine Forestry Associates regarding a timber harvest of ±55 acres of land in the Hadlock Community Forest, to commence this winter.
ACTION: Council action anticipated.
Summary:
The Council at its August 24 meeting requested that the Open Space Implementation Sub-Committee bring them a detailed plan regarding how the harvest they propose for Hadlock Community Forest will be conducted and the impact of that harvest monitored. A copy of that implementation plan is attached.
