Discussion about an option to build 5 "on-street" parking spaces with a sidewalk, located near Underwood Park on Foreside Road.

Summary:
Approximately 5 "on-street" parking spaces were eliminated on Johnson Road when that road was reconstructed last year. These spaces were located near the intersection of Johnson Road and Foreside Road. Staff has observed that parking in this location is necessary to support the Public Landing during busy summer boating days. Staff is recommending that these spaces could be replaced with 5 new spaces in front of Underwood Park on Foreside Road. A sketch plan of the proposed spaces and a sidewalk is attached.
