In December 2008, the Council appointed the Planning Board to serve as the Town's municipal reviewing authority (MRA) contingent upon the adoption of amendments to the Planning Board Rules of Procedure. The Planning Board initially adopted amendments to its Rules in November 2008, but the Council was uncomfortable with the language as proposed and sent it back to the Planning Board with suggested revisions. The Planning Board has now approved a revised version of its Rules of Procedure taking into
consideration Council feedback. The proposed revised Rules are attached. The amended language pertaining to conducting public hearings as the MRA is contained in a new Section 6.3. |
