Per the Council’s request, the Conservation Commission, working with Planning staff, has developed draft outdoor wood boiler ordinance language which reflects the policy direction recommended by the Conservation Commission at its September 8, 2008 meeting and approved by the Council at its September 22, 2008 meeting.
Attached, please find: The Town’s existing regulations governing outdoor wood boilers (Code of Ordinances, Section 4-77); the minutes from the 5/29/07 council meeting at which the existing moratorium was adopted; the proposed new outdoor wood boiler ordinance language; excerpted definitions from the Zoning & Site Plan Review Ordinance for reference; and the State’s current outdoor wood boiler regulations. |
