A copy of Bob Shafto's original proposal is attached to refresh everyone on this subject. We were last tasked by the Council to look into insurance coverage and consulting vs. employer questions. The insurance premiums will not increase and there is complete coverage for these activities. The question pertaining to Bob Shafto acting as a consultant or employee was raised with Bill Plouffe. The classification could be interepreted either way depending on specific activities. Bob Shafto and Nathan Poore will need to be mindfull of the IRS regulations as we proceed with the specific functions. |
