Call to Order Committee Members present and answering roll call:
Sally Bitan, Steve Hendry, John Henson, Bill McMahon
Non-Committee Members present:
Jay Reynolds, Bonny Rodden
Item 1 Approve Past Minutes--All
- All past minutes were unanimously approved
Item 2 Special Arrangement for Corrugated Cardboard at ecomaine
- Jay mentioned that Missi from ecomaine had reminded him that ecomaine is waiting for a decision on whether Falmouth is willing to chagne the arrangement with regard to corrugated cardboard
- The Committee voted to recommend leaving the corrugated cardboard arrangement with ecomaine as is
Item 3 Membership Review
- Bill & John term expires 12/31/2010
- Steve & Satoria term expires 12/31/2011
- Sally term expires 12/31/2012
Item 4 Recycling for Businesses
- Ideas were discussed around promoting recycling at town businesses. To be determined are where/how to start and what types of business would be to approach first
- Steve mentioned that Missi from ecomaine could help us get started
- Bill will follow up the library on what they do for recycling
Item 5 Topics for Next Metting
- More discussion of where to go with business recycling
Item 6 Next Meeting Date
- The next meeting will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 4:30 PM at Publice Works. Bring a friend.
Item 7 Adjournment
- The meeting was adjourned after 6:00 PM
