(This will be a joint meeting with the School Board and Town Council Finance Sub-committees)


1. Election of the Town Council Finance Subcommittee Chair.

2. Presentation from the Town Auditor regarding the audit of fiscal year 2012.

3. Joint discussion with the School Board Finance Subcommittee regarding the following:

  •         a. Updates to the Town Council on current FY12 budget including unexpected costs from increased enrollment in the School Department.
  •         b. Updates to the Town Council on FY13 projected revenue gains and losses from Federal and State sources
  •         c. Preliminary review of any upcoming new expenses with an impact on the FY13 budget (including new school debt)
  •         d. Update on MS Wood Chip Boiler/MS facilities
  •         e. Review FY13 budget development calendar and schedule dates and agenda for School Board and Town Council joint meetings.
  •         f. Questions, concerns, format for future meetings including a preliminary discussion about goals and expectations with a more focused discussion to occur at a future joint meeting.
4. Other issues/topics.
