Meeting Minutes from 1/17/12
The meeting was called to order at 4:30
Present: Judy Currier , Lucky D’Ascanio, Janet Dye, Karen Jones, Marylou Murphy, Bonnie Troubh, Pat, Dr. Dom
The minutes from October 18, 2011 were approved.
Parks Division Report
- Poor conditions for Nordic skiing and ice skating.
- Nordic Trails behind FHS have limited access and no access to FCP with no bridge over RR track.
- Zacharias farm property turned over to Town of Falmouth. Options for active and passive recreation.
FCP Update – Lucky D’Ascanio
- Programming is filling-up. Chess is full with a waiting list and have added an extra session.
- Senior bowling had to be cancelled perhaps due to expense of lane rental.
- The Salem Scrooge Trolley Tour in December was very successful.
- February 12th will be Hadlock Forest Discovery Days with bonfire, scavenger hunt, nature hikes.
- School properties – Ocean View proposal accepted. Details outlined on the Town of Falmouth website.
Other Business
- Karen Jones reviewed PACPAC work plan.
