Reviewed and signed off on prior meeting minutes.

Parks Division Report:
Received planning board approval for four new dugouts at Legion Field.  New drainage for Community Park plateau/football field installed in July/August, will be back online in 7-10 days. Resurfaced tennis courts at Houston Park and Middle School.  Fundraiser being held by individual for windscreens for tennis courts at Middle and High School; estimated to be done in the spring.  Todd Livingston resigned as athletic director, will be replaced on an interim basis by a current staff member.

FCP Update:
Community Programs Fall Brochure is out.  All programs are a go.  Slow start to registrations, potentially due to school starting a week later.  Senior programming going well- overnight trip is full.

Discussed Striders program- Is a K-5 elementary program this year as middle school can participate in cross-country.  Currently at capacity of 50 children, with 20 on the wait list.  Kept numbers smaller this year due to uncertainty about facilities with new school.

Community Programs is currently utilizing space at Plummer-Motz for daytime programming.  In order to keep overhead down, using Plummer/Motz only.  Currently working through transition process. Potential to ramp up programming for winter/spring however will wait and see based on direction on buildings.  Daytime programs would need to be potentially moved.

Update from Judy Currier regarding the August 22nd Public hearing on “call for offers” for Plummer-Motz and Lunt school property.   Notes distributed to the group.  Pre-bid meeting on 9/28, deadline for offers is 11/29/11.

Stadium Turf Field- different signup versus reservation process so far.

Review PACPAC work plan:
Group reviewed plan and on track for activities for the year.   Asked for any changes/additions to be discussed at October 18th meeting.
Tour completed in July- should plan to keep on plan for May 2012.  
Potential projects for individuals/groups that may be looking for volunteer opportunities (school, eagle scout, etc).   Current Eagle Scout candidate working on stonework/landscaping project at Pine Grove.  Discussed cataloging cemeteries as another potential project.

Other items:

Work on RR tracks upgrade through 1st week of October.
Meetings from October 18th and forward will be moved to a 4:30pm start.
