PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
August 21, 2007
EVENDALE MUNICIPAL BUILDING
The regular August meeting of the Evendale Planning Commission (EPC) was called to order by Chairperson Dick Shaffer at 6 PM on August 21, 2007. Attending were EPC members Susan van Amerongen, Chris Schaefer (Council Representative), Rob Adams, Dick Shaffer, and Dan Frank. Supporting the EPC were James Dobrozsi (Architectural Review Board Member), Ralph Terbrueggen (Landscape Review), James Jeffers (Village Engineer), Pam Morin (Village Building Department Clerk), Jack Cameron, and Linda Fitzgerald.
New Business
1) Lehigh Cement Company, addressStreet2792 Glendale-Milford Rd.
Site Review for Building Expansion
Mr. Charles Watkins and Mr. Bob Riggs, representing Lehigh Cement Company, presented a proposed building expansion at addressStreet2792 Glendale-Milford Rd.. There was no new parking to be added. Lehigh committed to erecting a cinder block dumpster enclosure.
A motion was made by Rob Adams and seconded by Susan van Amerongen to approve the site review. The motion passed by a 5 yes 0 no vote
Internal Business:
1) Village Engineer
Update on the Chipotle and maintenance of landscaping at Evendale Commons.
2) Economic Development Director
Report on two land acquisitions by the Village (portion of Village Crossing and 11 acre site across from St. Ritas).
3) Jack Cameron
Report on proposed street signs and ODOT aesthetic committee for I-75 improvements.
4) Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Rob Adams and seconded by Chris Schaefer to approve the revised meeting minutes from June 26, 2007. The motion passed by a 5 yes and 0 no vote.
5) Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Susan van Amerongen and seconded by Dan Frank to approve the meeting minutes from July 17, 2007. The motion passed by a 5 yes and 0 no vote.
On a motion to adjourn the meeting by Susan van Amerongen and seconded by Rob Adams, the meeting was adjourned at 6:40 PM by a 5 yes to 0 no vote. The next regular meeting is scheduled for September 18, 2007 at 6:00 PM.
