Meeting Minutes for March 15, 2007
Present at the Meeting:
Pat Casey, Jim Owens, and Jim Bothe
Topics Discussed:
* Reviewed meeting minutes from February 15, 2007.
* Service Department installed 15" overflow drain. Additional trail drainage improvements discussed. Plan to add some 4" perforated drainage at various locations.
* Mentioned additional information to be added to signboard.
* Paul Anderson planning his tree planting and tree identification scout project. Bo to check on potential signage.
* Wildflower field mowed. Discussed ways to control weeds. Decided to plant same as last year and get some experienced assistance to monitor progress.
* Spring cleanup volunteer day discussed and set for May 5th. Plan to trim trails, pull some honeysuckle, do some planting, add trail drainage, spread some wood chips, and remove some cattails.
Action Items:
* Finalize plans for spring cleanup volunteer day May 5th.
* Service Department to install Plexiglas cover to signboard before summer.
* Follow up on Boy Scout tree identification project. Jim Bothe plans to help with tree selection and identification signage.
