I.      GHF Presentation
a.      5 year master plan was discussed. Mr. Ranz inquired about the role of the Harness Club and how they are used in the marketing of the farm and why it was so limited in the plan. After a lengthy discussion agreement was made to include the Harness Club in a better document role. Mr. Lohmeier asked why the increased fund raising did not have a more immediate time line. It was pointed out the plan simply states that the goal is to have an additional $50,000 per year by 2015. Increased fund raising is immediate but not at the $50,000 per year level until 2015. Other points of discussion were the reasoning of offering free memberships to all residents and the results of this action. The Farm continues to recruit volunteers & sponsor for all activities on the farm. Jim Cole talked about the interaction between the Farm & Boy Scouts.
