Harbor Committee Meeting
APRIL 12, 2004
Attendance: Greg Biss, John Bishop, Chase Langmaid, Bud Finch, and Melinda Krestel.
John Bishop called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Motion to approve minutes from the March 8, 2004 meeting made by
Greg Biss, seconded by Chase Langmaid, Unam.
Discussions were held on the following items:
Fred Moore would like to settle the case against him. Need to
calculate what is owed by him for dockage and administration fees.
Pictures of the floats that we have were presented by Bud. A
discussion as to what should be done with them entailed with
some ideas proposed for putting them in at the south side of fish
pier, south side of breakwater to be managed by the Harbor Master.
Bob DelPapa of the Chowder House would like to lease 3 floats this
Summer if possible. John will set up an emergency meeting to discuss
the possibilities.
The atenualters are still at Dean’s and waiting for some direction
from Lubec as to what to do with them.
Discussion was tabled until Eric, Lee and Charlie are present.
Motion to keep the 20% reduction on Inner Basin bills if paid in the first 30 days was made by Chase Langmaid. Seconded by John Bishop. Unam.
John Bishop stated that he wants to step down as chairman of the
Committee. A suggestion was made that the appointment was at the
first of each year. John said he would stay on until then.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m. by Greg Biss. Seconded by Chase Langmaid. Unam.
