Beginning Saturday, January 27, residents will be able to recycle paint, shellac, and other paint products. Paint can be recycled on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month between the hours of 10 am and 12 pm at the Eastport recycling facility located at the Guilford Mill (corner of Route 190 and Toll Bridge Rd). Please see the attached information sheet for more details on which products can be recycled.
Please note: paint must be in a paint can, the lid must be secure, and the container may not be leaking paint. Marine paint is not accepted.
As a reminder, CFLs, fluorescent tube lights, and thermostats can also be recycled at the Eastport recycling facility.
There is no cost for this service.
