All Eastport residents are invited to attend a public open house to learn about a fantastic opportunity we have been given to learn how we can attract young families, retain the young people who currently reside in Eastport, and how to attract telecommuters to live in our community.
Open House details:
When: Thursday, October 5 from 6:00 pm - 8 pm
Where: Welcome Center (Eastport Port Authority building)
Community and economic development experts from across the U.S. will assist us in determining how we reach those goals at a half day workshop to be held the following day. Your input is vital to the success of this program as we discuss using broadband to increase development and decide on an action plan to bring young families to our community.
Half Day Workshop details:
When: Friday, October 6 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Welcome Center (Eastport Port Authority buildinig)
Light breakfast and lunch will be served.
