Many people have come in to City Hall to see the "Honor Case" on loan from The Summit Project
The Honor Case memorializes men and women from Maine who have died in recent conflicts.
This Saturday at 10:00 a.m., veterans, citizens, first responders, and loved ones of the fallen soldiers will gather at City Hall for a memorial walk and sharing circle.
The walking route is: City Hall to Water St, to Clark St onto High St. There will be a sharing circle at Hillside Cemetery and then the walk continues down High to Pleasant St, around Franklin /Battery St to Middle St and returns down Water St back to City Hall.
There will be a small ceremony at City Hall at the end of the walk.
This event is rain or shine. Those who would like to join part of the walk are welcome as are those who wish to follow along in a vehicle.
