The Maine Floodplain Management Program in cooperation with FEMA has scheduled 2 Open House public meetings in May.
NOTE there is no formal presentation at these Open Houses. State Floodplain Management and FEMA staff will be there to answer questions from property owners.
Meeting Purpose: to answer any questions that property owners have about the new FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM).
Meeting Location: Washington County Emergency Management Agency 28 Center St. Machias.
Meeting Times: Monday May 8 from 4PM-7PM OR, Tuesday May 9 from 9AM-noon.
Details provided in the WCCOG News Feed including link to information sheet to post in your town offices to alert property owners.
