Eastport was recently given the State designation of a "Certified Business Friendly Community."
The first such designation given in Washington County, Eastport is commended for its role in fostering workforce development, revitalization of the downtown, quality of life, growth of the Port Authority, and straightforward business permitting process.
It takes many hands to create a business friendly community with a fantastic quality of life, so congratulations to one and all!
