PLEASE BE ADVISED: EASTPORT IS UNDER WARNINGS FOR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AND HURRICANE FORCE WINDS.
The City has implemented its Emergency Management Plan. Please make your preparations early for food and water supplies as well as batteries and other necessities to see you through the storm.
Please keep off the roads unless absolutely necessary. The blizzard conditions and hurricane force winds will cause dangerous drifting and may cause downed trees and powerlines.
Eastport Elementary School is the emergency shelter location should it become necessary. The shelter will be opened if it is safe for people ONLY if the road/weather conditions are deemed safe enough to travel.
If the shelter is opened, you will need to bring blankets and basic necessities. If you take medication, please bring it with you.
