The City of Eastport is very pleased to announce the approval of the CDBG Workforce Development Grant filed on behalf of Millennium Marine USA.
The $100,000 grant, written by Assistant City Manager, Elaine Abbott, will provide funds for skilled training for individuals of low to moderate income at Millennium Marine USA's facility in Eastport.
City Manager, Larry Post is pleased that Millennium Marine USA is beginning operations in Eastport and will be providing much needed employment, "The Workforce Development Grant will greatly assist in providing training for these employees and will be of considerable benefit to the employees, Millennium Marine, and the City of Eastport."
