WORK SESSION MINUTES

PB Members Present: Michael Cole, Dan Coppelman – Chair, Tom Johnson, Craig Nightingale, Don Anderson, Robert Smith – Alternate, Marc Stahl – Alternate
PB Members Absent: Lee Verrone, Lisa Panaccione
Staff Present: Patrice Carson - Planning Consultant
Mr. Coppelman opened the meeting at 4:04 p.m.
Mr. Cole reported that the garage that was to be demolished at 15 Martha Ave has not been demolished. Only the windows have been removed. Mr. Cole will work with the town enforcement officer to insure complete demolition of the project.
Discussion of the next Planning Board meeting starting time was discussed and the meeting will be scheduled depending upon the availability of an invited guest – Mr. Peterson to discuss affordable housing zone by-laws. Ms. Carson will work with Ms. Panaccione to contact Mr. Peterson about his availability. Mr. Johnson will contact the Eastham Housing Trust chairman and the Housing Trust consultant and invite them as well.
The Local Comprehensive Plan was discussed and various changes were recommended and will be updated by the town planner, Ms. Carson.
In addition, Mr. Johnson will obtain the 2010 US Census information to update the human services section of the plan and rewrite the section on elder citizens and the impact of a declining young adult population.
Mr. Johnson, the Clerk, left the meeting at this point to attend another meeting and the remaining minutes were taken by Patrice Carson. The Board finished up their review of the LCP with more to be done on November 29 and December 13, 2011.
