MEETING MINUTES

Members Present: Howard Sandler-Chairman, Leslie Ann Morse-Vice Chairman,  Michael Cole
                               Debra Abbott, Kevin Holland and Peter McDonald

Staff Present: Mary Elizabeth Burgess, Town Planner
                                                                                
Mr. Sandler (Chairman) called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM

ANR:
CASE PB2006-07 - MARK PETER & MARY LOU MURZYN, request Endorsement of Plan      Believed Not to Require Approval for property located at 220 Locust Road, Eastham, Map 11 Parcel 69A

A MOTION was made by Debbie Abbott, SECONDED by Michael Cole to Endorse the ANR for  Mark Peter & Mary Lou Murzyn for property located at 220 Locust Road, Eastham, Map-11 Parcel-69-A.

VOTE: IN FAVOR - UNANIMOUS

ANR:
CASE PB2006-08  - RICHARD J. & JoANN RAFFERTY & TIMOTHY N. & CYNTHIA A.         RAFFERTY, request Endorsement of Plan Believed Not to Require Approval for property located at 115 & 125 Thumpertown Road, Eastham, Map - 10 Parcels 225 & 226.

A MOTION was made by Kevin Holland, SECONDED by Debbie Abbott to Endorse the ANR for Richard J. & JoANN Rafferty & Timothy N. & Cynthia A. Rafferty for property located at 115 Thumpertown Road, Eastham, Map-10 Parcels 225 & 226.

VOTE: IN FAVOR - UNANIMOUS



CASE PB2006-06 - JAMES & DONNA DEMETRI/Benjamin E. Zehnder, Atty., seek         RESIDENTIAL SITE PLAN APPROVAL under Eastham Zoning By-Laws Section XIV & IX, Paragraph D-2, to demolish an existing structure and reconstruct a new two bedroom dwelling for  property located at 265 Herring Brook Road, Eastham, Map 17 Parcel 486.

FINDINGS:
1. Existing 4 bedroom structure to be demolished and replaced with a 2 bedroom                 structure.
2. It is subject to Board of Health Approval
3. The plans presented are attractive.
4. The abutters are positive about this project.                                
5. They desire to leave existing vegetation.
A MOTION was made by Leslie Morse, SECONDED by Kevin Holland to accept the Findings as read.

VOTE: IN FAVOR - UNANIMOUS

DECISION:
        Based on the Applicant’s request a MOTION was made by Leslie Morse   and SECONDED by   Kevin Holland   to Approve Residential Site Plan for James & Donna Demetri to demolish existing 4 bedroom structure and reconstruct a new 2 bedroom  dwelling on property located at 265 Herring Brook Road, Eastham, Map 17 Parcel 486.

VOTE:   IN FAVOR - UNANIMOUS

GOOD LUCK COTTAGES - NAUSET OAKS LANE (new) They may replace shell drive with stone.  

A MOTION  was made by Kevin Holland, SECONDED by Peter McDonald to allow the change from shell driveway to stone on Nauset Oaks Lane.

VOTE: IN FAVOR - UNANIMOUS

After a discussion regarding construction at 32 Tomahawk Trail a decision was made by the Board.

A MOTION was made by Michael Cole, SECONDED by Kevin Holland to instruct the Building Inspector to put an immediate Stop Work Order on the entire project.

VOTE:    IN FAVOR - UNANIMOUS

A MOTION was made by Leslie Morris, SECONDED by Kevin Holland to approve  the Minutes of March 8, 2006 as written.

VOTE: IN FAVOR (6) UNANIMOUS  

MOTION TO ADJOURN AT 6:30 PM was made by Leslie Morse, SECONDED by Debbie Abbott.                             
VOTE:   IN FAVOR (5)  UNANIMOUS
