Present:        Judy Brainerd, Glen Collins, Laura Freeman, Sue Haley, and Sue Horton

Land Acquisition:

Wiley Park Bridge Progress:
ADA Variance- per Glenn, this variance filing had not gone out yet.
Notice of Intent- The Conservation Commission approved the bridge project notice of intent at their public hearing last night. This part of the project is complete
Final Design and Bid Process- Glenn has spoken with Joe Bianchi about developing final bridge design plans using the topographic information and bridge sketch. Once the design plan is complete, we can use it to seek bids from 3 contractors to construct the bridge.

Americorps:
Americorps was out in Wiley Park the day before the storm hit. Judy counted over 100 trees down in a short walk through the park. Americorps will now have to come back for additional clean up work. When and whether they will even be able to get in there to handle a job this size is questionable.

Old Business:
Open Space and Recreation Plan- Katelyn will update us at the next meeting.

New Business:
Annual Report- Judy is writing the annual report for the open space committee highlighting key accomplishments such as obtaining the grant for the Wiley Park bridge, creating the new trail on the Hatch property and getting the open space trail maps online.
CC Commission- The CCC has developed a questionnaire with respect to an assessment of transportation on the Cape and in Eastham.
Mutt Mitts- The BOS had a meeting about dogs on dog beach. The BOS did not want to prohibit dogs and said they will investigate providing additional mutt mitts.

The Committee is holding an informational public hearing on December 21, 2005 to explain generally what the CPA is and to discuss the application process for CPA project proposals. The CPA project proposal applications will be available Friday. January 30, 2006 the proposed projects are due for evaluation.
