DISCUSSION OF SECTION XII ADDITIONAL AMENDMENTS TO TITLE5:
NITROGEN LOADING REGULATIONS AND SECTION I SEPTIC SYSTEMS TITLE 5
Overview of septic regulations by Jane Crowley. Examples from pervious variance hearings were selected to show general applicability of each category when the regulations were applicable.
REVIEW SEPTIC UPGRADE CRITERIA
Discussion about when cases are referred to Board of Health for approved in general. Examples of types of projects that would be referred to the BOH for consideration.
WATER QUALITY OVERVIEW AND WASTEWATER UPDATES
Discussion of meeting with Herring Pond Homeowners Association. Explanation of overall beach testing results to date. Discussion regarding Herring Pond water quality impacts and possible remedial approaches for the ponds.
OTHER BUSINESS
Beverly Knox would like to include medical topics at the monthly Board of Health Meeting for citizens to consider.
