Capital Projects Committee - Rock Harbor Dredge
6 October, 2014
Attendees: Wally Adams, Member, Board of Selectmen Sheila Vanderhoef, Member, Town Administrator Mike Hackworth, Member, Finance Committee
Neil Andres, Public Works Superintendent
Sheila Vanderhoef called the meeting to order and Neil Andres, provided a summary of all activity completed since the last meeting:
1) The dredging started on time and is progressing well.
2) Environmental considerations continue to be monitored and managed without any current issues.
There was general discussion of Eastham Conservation Commission requirements on treated wood products on any future replacement of docks and the cost of exceeding state and federal requirements which will be referred to the Finance Committee.
It was agreed that the project was on time and budget, and progressing well. There are not any known project issues.
The meeting was adjourned after agreeing to meet in two weeks subject to need/progress of the project.
