Minutes
Capital Projects Committee - Rock Harbor Dredge
September 8, 2014
Attendees: Wally Adams, Member, Board of Selectmen Sheila Vanderhoef, Member, Town Administrator Mike hackworth, Member, Finance Committee
Neil Andres, Public Works Superintendent
Sheila Vanderhoef called the meeting to order and Neil Andres gave a status update with the following salient points:
1) The process of obtaining permits/approvals continues but is on track (in particular, the Army Corps of Engineers permit has been received and water quality certificate/DEP dredging permits are not expected to be delayed).
2) Planning review with the vendor and taking into account all previous activity do not indicate any need for change orders at this time.
3) Eastham Conservation Commission requirements will require a higher standard of treatment for replacement of wood products on future dock replacement than that required by state and federal requirements.
4) Environmental concerns continue to be managed without expectations of project delays at this time.
5) The project is currently on time and budget without any known project issues.
The meeting was adjourned and it was agreed to meet in two weeks or as needed.
These minutes were approved by the two members attending the 5 January, 2015 meeting
(Wally Adamand Mike Hackworth).
