Capital Projects Committee - Rock Harbor Dredge
August 25, 2014
Attendees: Wally Adams, Member, Board of Selectmen Sheila Vanderhoef, Member, Town Administrator Mike Hackworth, Member, Finance Committee
Neil Andres, Public Works Superintendent
Sheila Vanderhoef called the meeting to order and Neil Andres provided a status update with the following salient points:
1) The process of obtaining permits/approvals continues and are expected to be obtained in time to begin the project as planned. The permitting/approval process is complex and involves numerous agencies but they have been responsive to our needs.
2) Environmental concerns that could delay the project and/or increase cost are well understood and managed.
3) The project is currently on time and budget without any know project issues.
The meeting was adjourned and it was agreed that the committee would meet in two weeks or as needed.
These minutes were approved by the two members attending the January 5, 2015 meeting
(Wally Adams and Mike Hackworth).
