EASTHAM BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Minutes of August 28, 2012 Meeting
Chairman Sette called the meeting of the Board of Assessors to order at 2:00 p.m. in the Small Meeting Room.
Present: Assessors Sette, Fagan, Cahill, and Buffington, and Deputy Assessor Gail McAleer.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Board VOTED unanimously to APPROVE the minutes of the July 25, 2012 meeting.
The Board VOTED unanimously to APPROVE the FY14 renewal of the Chapter 61B Chapter Land applications for the Thomas Family Realty Trust at 1175 Herring Brook Road, the Nauset Land Trust at 10 Cartway North, Atlantic Oaks Realty LLC at 0 State Highway by Railroad, and the Harris Family Realty Trust at 560 and 580 Dyer Prince Road.
The Board VOTED unanimously to AAPOVE the FY14 renewal of the Chapter 61 Chapter Land application for the Josephine Fellers Realty Trust at 255 and 365 Higgins Road.
The Board reviewed the proposed Fiscal Year 2013 assessed values. The Board VOTED unanimously to APPROVE and signed the LA-4 Assessment/Classification Report, LA-13 Tax Base Levy Growth Report, and the LA-15 Interim Year Adjustment Report for submission to the Department of Revenue.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Doreen Cahill made a motion to convene Executive Session per M.G.L. c.30A, Sec. 21.
Joanna Buffington seconded.
Roll call vote was taken to enter Executive Session at 2:20 p.m.
Cahill-yes, Fagan-yes, Sette-yes, Buffington-yes
The Board exited Executive Session at 2:45 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 2:50 p.m.
