EASTHAM BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Minutes of September 4, 2012 Classification Hearing
Public Hearing convened at 5:10 p.m.
Present: Assessors Sette, Fagan, and Buffington, Deputy Assessor Gail McAleer, and the Board of Selectmen
- The Classification Hearing was held at 5:05 p.m. with the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Assessors.
- After review and explanation of all available options by Deputy Assessor Gail McAleer and the Board of Assessors, the Board of Selectmen voted by unanimous vote:
- The adoption of a residential factor of 1 (one) which sets a single tax rate for all classes of property.
- Not to grant a discount to Open Space.
- Not to grant a residential exemption.
- Not to grant a small commercial exemption.
- The meeting of the Board of Assessors adjourned at 5:20 p.m.
