Eastham Affordable Housing Trust
Minutes for March 5, 2013

Trustees attending: John Knight, Matt Wissell, Eileen Morgan, and Bill Burt
Also attending: Alice Boyd, Bailey Boyd Associates

Meeting was called to order at Noon by Chairman Bill Burt

Minutes of the February 5, 2013 Meeting
It was moved by Eileen Morgan and seconded by John Knight to “accept the minutes of the February 5th meeting as presented.”  The motion passed with a unanimous vote.

Wampum Lane Property
95B is occupied
The Cape Cod Commission advertised the lottery for 95A as having a subsidy which was a false assumption.  The Commission has no one on its list that could afford it without a subsidy.  We will need to hire someone to hold a lottery for the property.
95A has a small amount of Lead that needs to be removed from two of the windows.  It was moved by John Knight and seconded by Eileen Morgan “to authorize $3,000 to replace the windows.”  The motion passed with a unanimous vote.
L.I.P. applications were presented for signature and submission.
MB Management provided their lease agreements and selection criteria as was discussed at the February meeting.  We are still waiting for the final budget.  The rents will be as follows 95A - 1031 and 95B - 780

Update on Bracket Landing
Executive Session
It was moved by John Knight and seconded by Eileen Morgan “to move into Executive Session and then to return to regular session”  The vote was unanimous.

Requests For Proposals
Alice informed the Trust that Bailey Boyd Associates will not be rebidding on the consulting contract.

It was moved by John Knight and seconded by Eileen Morgan to “issue a RFP for the consulting contract and a RFP for Pre-Development Consulting.”  It was unanimously approved.

Other Business
The Rental Subsidy program is going well.  The spaces are all filled and those involved are happy.

It was moved by John Knight and seconded by Eileen Morgan “to adjourn.”  It was unanimously approved.

Meeting was adjourned at 12:55 PM

Respectfully Submitted,
Matthew J Wissell
