Town Council Special Meeting

Minutes

Present:  Chairperson Susan Weintraub, Vice Chairman Glenn Suprono and Council Members Kyle Dostaler, Ted Hintz, Jr., Derek Johnson, Barbara Moore and George Pfaffenbach.  Also present were Interim Town Manager John Weichsel, Town Attorney Jean D’Aquila, Labor Attorney Patrick McHale and Recording Secretary Cathy Sirois.

Chairperson Weintraub called the Special Meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. in the East Hampton High School Library.

The Council entered Executive Session at 5:33 p.m.

John Weichsel Status Update
Present in this portion of Executive Session were Chairperson Susan Weintraub, Vice Chairman Glenn Suprono and Council Members Kyle Dostaler, Ted Hintz, Jr., Derek Johnson, Barbara Moore and George Pfaffenbach.  Also present were Interim Town Manager John Weichsel and Town Attorney Jean D’Aquila.

Update Town Council Members on ongoing personnel matters:
            i.   Chief Matthew Reimondo sick leave
           ii.   Sgt. Michael Green discipline status
          iii.   Officer Hardy Burgin discipline status

Town Attorney Jean D’Aquila left the Executive Session for this portion of the meeting and Labor Attorney Patrick McHale joined the meeting.

Update Town Council Members on ongoing litigation matters:
             i. MMX-CV-11-6006256S – Olzacki v. Town et al
            ii. FIC2011-382 – Faber v. MHHDC
           iii. CHRO 1140107 – Shepard v. O’Keefe
           iv.  CHRO 1140106 – Shepard v. Town
            v.  MMX-CV-11-6005361-S – Klotzbier v. 82 Main Street LLC
           vi.  HHB-CV-11-6011320-S – Arnold v. East Hampton
           vii.        HHB-CV-11-6011467-S – Skyline Estates LLC v. East Hampton

Labor Attorney Patrick McHale left the Executive Session for this portion of the meeting and Town Attorney Jean D’Aquila re-joined the meeting.

The Council exited Executive Session at 6:34 p.m.

A motion was made by Mr. Dostaler, seconded by Ms. Moore, to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m. Voted (7-0).
