Minutes
Present: Chairperson Melissa Engel, Vice Chairman Thomas Cordeiro and members, Christopher Goff, Scott Minnick, John Tuttle and Susan Weintraub. Also present was Town Manager Jeffery O’Keefe, Public Utilities Administrator Vincent Susco and Recording Secretary Cathy Sirois.
Not Present: William Devine
Call to order: Chairperson Engel called the special meeting to order at 5:48 p.m.
A motion was made by Mr. Cordeiro, seconded by Mr. Tuttle, to enter Executive Session at 5:48 p.m. to discuss pending litigation and land acquisition. Voted (6-0). Mr. Susco was present for the discussion regarding land acquisition.
The Council exited Executive Session at 6:07 p.m.
A motion was made by Mr. Tuttle, seconded by Mr. Goff, to authorize Town Manager, Jeffery J. O’Keefe to sign all MTBE settlement documents involving Gulf Oil Limited Partnership and Cumberland Farms, Inc. on behalf of the Town of East Hampton. Voted (6-0).
Adjournment:
A motion was made by Mr. Cordeiro, seconded by Mr. Tuttle, to adjourn the meeting at 6:10 p.m. Voted (6-0).
