Minutes


Present:  Jeremy Hall, Shawn Mullen, Deb Mckinney, Chris Hanson, Alan Hurst, Tim Adams, Cheryl Dougherty.  

Call to Order:  Deb Mckinney called the meeting to order.  

Approval of the minutes of the September 5th, Regular Meeting:  Tim Adams motioned to approve the minutes.  Cheryl Dougherty seconded.  All approved.   

Audience of Citizens:  Students from Civics Class at EHHS, Kevin Reich.  

Communications:  None

Unfinished Business
  • Seamster Park Playground Fundraising opportunities/updates
  • Fundraising update
  • New Shirts for sale
New shirts are available now to purchase.  
  • Fat Orange Cat Fundraiser
We are working on a new date for another one of these.  
  • Kick Ball Tournament
Date moved to December
  • Golf Tournament
We are working on a date for this in the spring.  Update at the next meeting.  
  • Silent Auction
This will be a live auction hosted by the Rotary Club.  Kevin Reich discussed the process with us and what needs to be done.  
  • Reports from Fundraising Coordinator and PR Coordinator:  The coordinators each reported on their efforts.  
  • Field Use Rules/Regulations
Jeremy Hall is waiting on approvals of the final proposal.  
  • Boat Launch Repair
This project will likely need to go out to bid.  
  • Winter Programs update/ Hockey Rink
Shawn Mullen gave a report on the status of Winter programs and plans for the ice rink at Sears Park.  

New Business
  • Memorial bench for the Kings:  Tim Adams motioned to install a memorial bench at Sears Park, Cheryl Dougherty seconded the motion.  The King family is looking at how to purchase the bench.

  • Update on NRPA conference:  Jeremy Hall attended the NRPA conference and had a very positive experience.  
 Committee Reports

Adjournment:  Cheryl Dougherty motioned to adjourn.  Tim Adams seconded.  All approved.
