Unfinished Business
  • Partnership with Senior Center, Commission on Aging, and Parks and Recreation for “Boomer” programming
Nothing new at this time.
  • Parks and Recreation Director Position
There still has not been a Director hired since Ruth Checko resigned in July.  The advisory board is very concerned about this.
  • Air Line Trail Ghost Run and Road Races
The Air Line Trail Ghost Run was another huge success this year.  The department is already looking at plans to improve for next year.
  • Lake Marker Buoys
Shawn Mullen applied for more Lake Marker Buoys through the DEEP and was successful in obtaining 4 new Buoy locations.  This will help make the lake safer for boaters.

New Business
  • 2015 Meeting Dates
John Wright motioned to approve the meeting dates as the first Tuesday of the month at 4:30PM for all months other than July for the 2015 year.  Tim Adams seconded the motion.  All approved.

Other Concerns
Tim Adams expressed an idea about a youth indoor floor hockey program.  Shawn Mullen will look into the possibility of adding a program like this.
