Minutes
Present: Christopher Goff, Susan Weintraub, Town Manager Jeffery O’Keefe and Parks & Recreation Director Ruth Plummer
Not Present: William Devine
Mr. Goff called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m.
Mr. Goff explained that he invited Ruth Plummer to attend as Parks & Recreation oversees open space land acquisitions and grants and has knowledge of many town owned properties.
The criteria for open space was discussed as is written in the Plan of Conservation and Development.
A listing of town owned property was distributed.
The Assessor and Building Department will be asked to create a map with the town owned properties plotted, possibly through GIS system when completed.
Mr. Goff will look into private property up for sale that would be advantageous to the town.
A vision/mission statement should be developed for the task force.
Ruth Plummer will work on creating an inventory including classification of use, number of acres, stipulations for use and abutting land owners.
The meeting adjourned at 11:50 a.m.
