a. Solidify events and agenda for Holiday event to be held in Village Center on Saturday, December 5, 2009.

Monica Kangley stated that the Goff House was all set for after the Holiday parade (approximately 4:00 p.m.).  Nick Moujet will not be available for pictures.  Pictures with/on the fire truck were discussed.

Diane Bohmiller reported that Main Street Pizza will be offering slices at the dinner hour.

Discussions ensued regarding trees on display in the Community Room at the Community Center, decorations for the Village decorative lanterns/light poles, the new bridge, Senior Center Craft Fair, other events going on.  Tom Kennedy from the Congregational Church is still willing to provide the electricity for the tree, and there will be a craft/artisan vendor fair in the basement of the Church (vendors will be paying Church $30 for an 8x8 space).  Monica Kangley will purchase low voltage lights for the tree at the Church.  The children will meet at 3:45 at the Community Center to be given the Jingle Bells for their shoes.  Chris Edge will make (reminder) contacts, esp. nursery school and Memorial School.

The final agenda for the event will be done within the next week to ten days.

b.    Comprehensive list of all potential participants – Including local businesses and Town/Community Organizations.

Chris Edge provided a comprehensive list (handout) of events.

c. Sponsorship/contributions for lights, decorations, etc.

This year’s event will be done with the funds already available.  Discussions occurred regarding advertising costs, etc.

Monica Kangley suggested that there be a donation to the Congregational Church for the electricity costs they absorb each year.

Decorations for the new bridge and for trees and lamp posts in the Village Center will be investigated.

(Mr. Schrager left the meeting 7:50 p.m.)

d.  Discuss publications/content of East Hampton Bell Ringer – potential vendors for layout and printing – or advertisement in Rivereast.

There will be no Bell Ringer this year, but there will be a couple of significant advertisements.
