Mark Simmons mentioned that he has spoken to Mr. Dan Burnham, President of the East Windsor Cemetery Association.  Mr. Burnham asked that he be kept informed of any planned landscape projects that we may have for our cemetery.  Mr. Burnham is willing to work in conjunction with the Veterans Commission and he needs to be aware of any work being done so that he can coordinate maintenance and make future plans for the East Windsor cemeteries.  Ken Crouch said that he would be sure to check with Dan Burnham before any work is done on the memorial brick project.
Warren Wenz presented a map of our cemetery showing the proposed layout of the memorial brick project.  A brief discussion generated a decision to start this project with an approximately 200 square foot pathway of memorial bricks leading up to the cemetery monument.  The memorial brick project will be expanded as bricks are sold.

MOTION:  George Butenkoff moved to allocate up to $2,000.00 from our treasury for this project and request the Town of East Windsor’s Department of Public Works install the base and memorial bricks at the monument as described. This was seconded by David Malo and carried unanimously.

OTHER BUSINESS:
George Butenkoff reported that he had obtained several reconditioned computers for military families.  George said that there are a lot of computers available and he is looking into obtaining some more.  Ken Crouch said that we should develop a distribution plan for these computers.
Dave Malo reminded all present that the Connecticut Veterans Day Parade will be held in Hartford on Sunday, November 4th, 2007.  The East Windsor Veterans Commission plans to advertise for East Windsor Veterans to march in this parade.

Warren reminded all that our next regular meeting will be held on
